On November 14, Tan Xuguang led a delegation to visit Isuzu Motors (Japan) and held talks with Isuzus President, Masanori Katayama. Both sides exchanged views on the future development of new energy commercial vehicles and power systems, and had in-depth discussions on the future technological development direction of hydrogen fuel cells.
Masanori Katayama stated that Weichai Power is a multinational group with strong technological capabilities in the global internal combustion engine field. Its high thermal efficiency diesel engines are leading the world and it holds a significant position in the global commercial vehicle industry. Isuzu is responding to Japans call for a "hydrogen society" and actively promoting innovative solutions for advanced diesel power and new energy technologies. We hope both sides can further strengthen communication and jointly address the challenges of "carbon neutrality".
Tan said that Isuzu has a globally renowned brand influence in the pickup truck and light truck fields, and their focus on innovation and quality development is worth learning from.
